Volunteers will play an important part in delivering Healthwatch's objectives.
Healthwatch Bradford and District will provide meaningful opportunities for local people to influence and challenge health and social care services.
Become an Enter and View representative
We're looking for new volunteers to become Enter and View representatives, visiting services to gather feedback and see how well the service is working.
Are you interested in making a difference to local health and social care services?
Do you enjoy talking to people from all backgrounds?
Can you listen to and understand other people's views and experiences?
Becoming an Enter and View Representative could be a great way to get involved and influence improvements in local health and social care. Enter and View volunteers are trained and supported by Healthwatch staff, and will take part in a programme of visits to health and social care settings across the district.

How to apply
Depending on the type of volunteering you are interested in, we are likely to suggest that you first become a “Healthwatcher”. This role is a light touch type of volunteering and there is no need to complete a long application form. Healthwatchers are the eyes and ears of local people, telling us their experiences of using health and social care services in the Bradford District. As a Healthwatcher you can feedback to us what’s going on in services in your community, and help us gather views in order to improve those services.
If you enjoy the role of Healthwatching and feel like getting more seriously involved in the work of Healthwatch, then get in touch. We can have a chat with you and look at what skills, experiences and knowledge you have, then we will look at the kinds of volunteer roles which might suit you. We then ask you to complete an application form including references.
If you are interested in any of these opportunities to get involved with Healthwatch please contact us.
