Enter & View Reports
What is Enter & View?
Enter & View is a visit to a local publicly funded health or social care service such as; a care home, hospital, GP surgery or dentist. We can carry out an Enter & View at any time and it is led by Healthwatch Bradford & District Authorised Representatives who are fully trained to deal with sensitive situations and confidential information.
It is important to remember that an Enter & View is not an inspection but a visit to understand the support that people are receiving, what people think about it and to learn more about that particular service. One of the key benefits of Enter and View is that it is carried out by members of the public from a range of backgrounds, giving a fresh perspective. Our volunteers notice aspects of care that may not be obvious to professionals or inspectors, but which can make a real difference to patients and carers.
We always report back to providers and commissioners on what we have found and where appropriate to the regulators. Our reports are public and will highlight good things about the service, but may also make recommendations for improvement - we will always work with the service to make positive changes based on our recommendations.

Disclaimer: Our reports relate to specific visits to the services at a particular point in time, and are not representative of all service users, only those who contributed. Reports are written by volunteer Enter and View authorised representatives who carried out the visits on behalf of Healthwatch Bradford and District.
