The call has gone out for "caring, professional, positive people" to make a difference by joining the Adult Social Care team for Bradford district.

Bradford Council has a variety of professionally qualified, managerial and front-line care roles on offer.

The council is looking for people who are passionate about making a difference to people’s lives and to helping their local community.

People from a variety of backgrounds are being sought to bring their diverse life experiences to enhance the council’s workforce, which provides guidance, support and assistance to the citizens of the Bradford district to help them to live happy, healthy and fulfilled lives. The council said:

Working in Adult Social Care is a deeply rewarding career and there are many roles and opportunities for those wanting to return to the sector or those looking for a change in direction for their career.

Cllr Sarah Ferriby, Executive Member for Healthy People and Places, said: “We want to reach out to people who want to make a difference. I expect we have all at some point in our lives looked after and cared for someone we love, and having that care and support will have made a huge difference. We are encouraging people to come forward, get in touch and to make a difference to someone’s life.”
