Have your say on plans for community health hub at Westbourne Green
Local people, community and voluntary organisations, and other stakeholders are invited to have their say about exciting plans to create a wellbeing and self-care hub in one of Bradford’s biggest health centres.
The NHS clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) in Bradford are looking at ways to put some spare space to good use for local people at Westbourne Green Community Health Centre, in Manningham.
So, the CCGs are inviting people to an informal open session at the health centre on Wednesday 23 March, from 2pm to 3.30pm, to hear what they think about plans for a community health hub – and put forward any ideas they may have.
The space where the café used to be at Westbourne Green is vacant and could be turned into a wellbeing and self-care hub where people can get support to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and access a range of services available in the voluntary sector.
The CCGs also want to help tackle some of the wider issues which impact on health and wellbeing, such as housing and debt, by providing information and advice from organisations that can support the local community.
People can come along and meet staff from the CCGs to hear about the plans and say what they would like to see the space being used for.
