Wil Quick, the project co-ordinator, explained that co-production was about giving people who use services "a genuine say in what services are provided and how they are run".

“For too long disabled people have been expected to passively receive the services which are provided for them and not have any real participation in planning or providing it. This project is set to address this, making services work for the people who use them.

"It is so important to make sure that disabled people get to shape this project from the beginning. We need to find ways of ensuring that everyone who uses services can shape them, and that means finding out the ways that people want to have their voices heard.”

The event is open to anyone who has lived experience of disability who live in the Bradford district. It aims to have people with a broad range experiences and backgrounds. To find out more or to register for the event click here
