Welcome to Healthwatch Bradford and District
You may have seen the government's proposal to close independent Healthwatch. This proposal will not take effect immediately. We are still working, still listening and still here to support you.
We also joined 130 other Healthwatch in writing an open letter to the Health Secretary, Wes Streeting, about the importance of providing an independent voice service for the public.

Since the COVID-19 pandemic turned our lives upside-down early in 2020, access to services at GP practices has been one of the biggest concerns members of the public have shared with Healthwatch.
Here, local GPs respond to your feedback and explain the challenges they're facing.

Healthwatch is an essential part of the Bradford District and Craven Health and Care Partnership, and provide excellent insight into the needs of local people. Having Healthwatch as an independent critical friend involved in the design of every part of the local partnership arrangements has really helped make sure the focus stays on involving people and connecting with communities.
